Shipping Guidelines

Important information for buyers and sellers

Important Notice

Sellers are responsible for ensuring all shipments comply with federal, state, and local laws. Firearms shipped interstate generally must go to an FFL dealer in the recipient's state.

Seller Shipping Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

  • Tracking Required: All shipments MUST include tracking. No exceptions.
  • Ship Within 3 Business Days: Default handling time unless otherwise stated
  • Secure Packaging: Use appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage
  • Discreet Packaging: Do not mark packages with firearm-related information
  • Adult Signature: Strongly recommended for all firearm shipments

Approved Carriers

Long Guns (Rifles & Shotguns):

May be shipped via USPS, UPS, or FedEx

Handguns:

Must use UPS or FedEx (USPS not allowed for handguns by non-licensees)

Interstate vs. Intrastate

Interstate (Across State Lines):

Firearms must generally be shipped to an FFL dealer in the buyer's state. The dealer will conduct any required background checks and complete the transfer according to state law.

Intrastate (Same State):

Private party transfers may be allowed depending on state law. Check your state's specific requirements. Some states require background checks even for private sales.

Buyer Information

What to Expect

  • 1.Seller ships within 3 business days (or custom handling time if specified)
  • 2.Tracking number provided via your transaction dashboard
  • 3.Package arrives at your address or designated FFL
  • 4.Inspect immediately - Report any issues within 3 days
  • 5.Payment released to seller after 3-day inspection period

If Your Package is Lost or Damaged

Contact the seller immediately through the transaction dashboard. If shipped with insurance, the seller can file a claim. For unresolved issues, file a dispute within 3 days of expected delivery.

Ammunition Shipping

Ammunition can be shipped via common carriers but has special requirements:

  • •Must be properly packaged in original boxes or equivalent
  • •Marked as ORM-D (Other Regulated Material - Domestic)
  • •Cannot be shipped via USPS (use UPS or FedEx Ground)
  • •Check state laws - some states restrict ammunition shipments
